For JD's Christmas update, we took a 'lights and
glitter' approach to avoid the usual christmas cliches and built the JD logo out of laser cut sheet metal.
The intention was to capture coloured light through the
perforations to give a warm, festive and glamorous feel to compliment JD's
seasonal campaign.
We turned the Bubble studio into a darkroom and called on Mike Costello to shoot the sequences on REDcam at 4k which allowed us to use full size footage across the huge screen arrays in JD's
flagship store, Oxford Street, London.
